Back to School....

I've already announced the 'remaining' mini sessions, however I decided that I'd like to do this too.

I will admit this was not my original idea. However when I seen it I was inspired.

However on September 14, 2013 From 9:00 am to 11:00 am We will be at Sloan Park doing 'price match' sessions! All you need to do is call and set up your appointment and be sure to bring your child's schools flyer for school pictures. We'll match their prices.

There's no sitting fee and can be ages 4-18!

Each session will be for 1 child and last approximately 20 minutes. You will need to book a session for each child you wish to have photographed.

Within 3-5 days of session you will be emailed the gallery so that you can pick your child's pose. You are not limited to one pose, however you are limited to one pose per package you order.

Fun with Paint

The last week has been so much fun. We got to spend time with my Mommaw, my cousins Savanna, Sierra & Liam. It's amazing just how much family really does mean. With everyone being so busy, I feel as if we don't always take the time to 'smell the coffee'. We wanted to do something fun and original for Savanna's 9th birthday. Sure we did the traditional cake, ice cream and gift giving, but what's a 9th birthday without Splatter Paint?
Can you tell they had an amazing time? This was at the end of the Splatter Party
(Left to Right; Sierra, Joyce {my mama}, & Savanna)

She really did have a blast and wanted to do it again!

I do strongly advise using goggles; however my girls didn't want too!

Yes, splatter paint sessions are available. They are considered mini sessions. The cost is $75, because the session is so much fun, I do not typically put a time limit on them. However because of the nature of this session we cannot do these at public parks etc. We must do these on private property. We did ours in my moms front yard, once it rained the paint was washed away. Also please be aware that this paint does stain. We only use non-toxic liquid Tempera Paint. If you would like more information please email me at bobbiearp@ajoyfulhandphotography.net

*To other photographers, while I do encourage you to try this sometime. Please do not use powder paint. Not only can it harm your lens and camera, but it can be potentially dangerous to your clients. They breath in the powder which could cause asthma attack or other complications. Also its been said that this powder taste terrible.*

Newborn: Liam {plus sisters}

Once again I am biased with this session. Liam is my baby cousin. In these images he is 16 days old. I was blessed to have him and his big sisters visit for a week. Enjoy!

Liam is just so sweet and cuddly!

He really hated to be naked

and he loved touching his face

Tracey & Savannah

I loved working with this little family. Tracey and Savannah are such sweethearts. I've known Savannah for a little more than a year, she participated in Shutter Kidz last summer and she attends youth group at our church. We had a beautiful morning at Lakewood Park and then the Old Building here in Statesville. Enjoy!

& two became one...

Introducing Mr. & Mrs. R

I'm a hopeless romantic. I don't know about other wedding photographer's but I was in tears. This couple is so sweet. There was so much love in the room. Their families were so happy and excited for them. Jordan and Taylor had a beautiful country wedding. The Church was at Taylor's Family Church, The Troutman's founded Troutman, NC. This is the church house/school that was established in 1909.

Yesterday was such a cloudy and dreary day (this image was taken the day before), but it didn't stop the bride and groom from having an amazingly blessed day! They say rain on your wedding day is good luck!
This is an image from their engagement session. Jordan & Taylor began dating in high school. They have a fun, loving relationship. They have a love and respect for one another that goes deeper than most....

The bride and her party had the pleasure of getting dressed her grandfather's home. They have a beautiful family room that is lined with (almost) full wall length windows. I adore Taylor's gown. EKKK!

A quiet moment before time to leave for the wedding

Taylor had lots of friends and family with her while she waited to walk down the aisle to the love of her life.

This is Taylor's maid of honor, Lauren!

Yeah, I know this is 'outta focus' but I loved this shot anyway! All the girls were crunched in the bathroom getting ready! Taylor is a lucky lady; she has some pretty awesome friends.

This is Wendy, Taylor's mom! She is such a sweetheart.

Taylor's dad, walking her down the aisle. She's so happy! He's so proud!!

It's official; Mr. & Mrs. R along with their little darling Elayna

Such a precious family

Isn't their sweetheart, Elayna a beauty?? Love this child

Jordan kissing his bride...aww!

This is an outtake! I love it, even if its not perfect. It just shows life with a two year old is always exciting :)

I have so many images I want to share from this wedding, however I have to keep something for the bride and groom! I hope you enjoyed their wedding! I know I'm not great at blogging, but I'm working on it. Thank you for keeping up with AJHP and my rambles!

In case I didn't mention this earlier, I adore weddings and I adore them in b&w! I promise the bride & groom are receiving plenty of color images! I just decided to do their blog in b&w! All images are property of A Joyful Hand Photography by Bobbi Earp and Copyright protected
