Back to School....

I've already announced the 'remaining' mini sessions, however I decided that I'd like to do this too.

I will admit this was not my original idea. However when I seen it I was inspired.

However on September 14, 2013 From 9:00 am to 11:00 am We will be at Sloan Park doing 'price match' sessions! All you need to do is call and set up your appointment and be sure to bring your child's schools flyer for school pictures. We'll match their prices.

There's no sitting fee and can be ages 4-18!

Each session will be for 1 child and last approximately 20 minutes. You will need to book a session for each child you wish to have photographed.

Within 3-5 days of session you will be emailed the gallery so that you can pick your child's pose. You are not limited to one pose, however you are limited to one pose per package you order.

Over the last few weeks, I've noticed that there are 3 other photography businesses using similar names to A Joyful Hand Photography. While they're not in NC, they are close enough to my business name that it is causing a bit of confusion.

After a lot of prayer and consideration...I've decided that A Joyful Hand Photography will soon be Bobbi Janell Photography. I know in the beginning this will be somewhat confusing! I promise I will try to make the transition easy.

Fun with Paint

The last week has been so much fun. We got to spend time with my Mommaw, my cousins Savanna, Sierra & Liam. It's amazing just how much family really does mean. With everyone being so busy, I feel as if we don't always take the time to 'smell the coffee'. We wanted to do something fun and original for Savanna's 9th birthday. Sure we did the traditional cake, ice cream and gift giving, but what's a 9th birthday without Splatter Paint?

 She really did have a blast and wanted to do it again! 

 I do strongly advise using goggles; however my girls didn't want too! 

Yes, splatter paint sessions are available. They are considered mini sessions. The cost is $75, because the session is so much fun, I do not typically put a time limit on them. However because of the nature of this session we cannot do these at public parks etc. We must do these on private property. We did ours in my moms front yard, once it rained the paint was washed away. Also please be aware that this paint does stain. We only use non-toxic liquid Tempera Paint. *To other photographers, while I do encourage you to try this sometime. Please do not use powder paint. Not only can it harm your lens and camera, but it can be potentially dangerous to your clients. They breath in the powder which could cause asthma attack or other complications. Also its been said that this powder taste terrible.*

Once again I am biased with this session. Liam is my baby cousin. In these images he is 16 days old. I was blessed to have him and his big sisters visit for a week. Enjoy!
